This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Ohro Connect (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the Ohro platform (“Platform”, “App”, “Services”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our website, mobile web app, or related services.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), we act as a Data Fiduciary with respect to your personal data. You are the Data Principal.

By creating an account or using the Services, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to the processing described here, to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to your rights.

We collect personal data when you register, create or edit your profile, set your discovery location, use discovery/chat/events/groups, contact support, submit reports, enable notifications, or interact with our servers automatically.

We may also receive information from service providers that help us operate the Platform, subject to contractual safeguards.

If you use Ohro without a paid subscription, we may show non-personalized third-party display advertisements (for example, through Google AdSense). These ads:

You can manage ad personalization preferences through your browser or Google Ads Settings. Choosing "Essential only" in our consent banner disables advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.


14. Account deletion

You may delete your account in the App or by contacting us. Personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for safety.


15. LGBTQ+ user safety

LGBTQ+ users may face heightened privacy and safety risks. We provide blocking, reporting, privacy controls, and optional stealth/invisible modes where available. Please exercise caution when sharing information with other users.

We may update this Policy and will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Where required, we will notify you through the App or email.
